Wombat Sums
Raise a little maths whiz.
Brain-training fun for ages 4 to 6. Pip the wombat reads every question aloud, so they can play before they can read.
Coming soon to the App Store
For iPhone and iPad. The first 16 levels are free.
Made for little hands, before they can read
Can't read yet?
No problem.
Pip the wombat reads every question aloud, and a tap on Pip says it again. Big tiles, picture buttons, nothing to read.
“What is three plus two?”
Number Garden to Mix-up Island
Seven worlds.
One big adventure.
Find numbers in the Number Garden. Add at Plus Pond. Take away at Take-Away Beach. By Mix-up Island, it's adding, taking away and missing numbers within 10. Pip waves from the next level.
No lives. No game over.
A wrong tap just turns that tile grey, and the question waits. No countdown, no failure screens. Every finished level earns at least one star.
Every level
Stars, confetti, one proud kid.
Eight right answers finish a level. Up to three stars pop. Confetti flies. The first time through, a brand-new sticker drops in. Then comes the big question: “One more?”
The Sticker Book
58 stickers. Collect them all.
Every level has its own sticker, and every world its own page in the Sticker Book. Tap a sticker and it wiggles. Stars unlock new tile designs too, like Fruit and Bubbles.
Is it really learning?
Fun on top. Smart underneath.
Every level opens with the sums they know best, so it starts with a win. Then four quiet tricks do the teaching.
Tricky sums come back.
Miss one and it comes back later in the same level, and sooner next time. The sums they find hard get more practice.
Pip counts with them.
Two wrong goes on one sum and the next tiles fall at half speed, the answer glows, and where there are things to count, Pip counts them aloud, marking each one.
Every answer, said in full.
“Three plus two makes five!” Each right answer is said as the whole sum, so they hear how the numbers fit, not just the answer.
Speed that keeps up.
Tiles speed up after three right in a row and slow down after any slip. Quick when they're flying, gentle when they're stuck.
Screen time that counts.

No. Pip reads every question and answer aloud, and the buttons are pictures. Keep the Voice switch on in Settings.
Is it really learning, or just a game?
Both. Tricky sums come back sooner, the tiles slow down after a slip, and every right answer is said in full. The Progress tab shows how each skill is going.
What maths does it cover?
Numbers 1 to 10, adding and taking away within 10, and missing numbers, like 3 + ? = 5. It's made for ages 4 to 6: kinder, Prep and Year 1.
Will it ask my child to buy things?
No. No ads, no pop-ups, and it never asks your child to buy. Tap a locked level and Pip says to keep playing. Buying sits behind the grown-up gate.
What's free, and what does the unlock add?
