Questions

How do I set up the icons?

Two ways. Shortcuts works for every app: make an Open App shortcut with a Bush Glass icon, in about a minute per app. Quick install covers 115 popular apps in a few taps: open a group file, then install it in Settings. See the setup steps and more answers.

Is Bush Glass an app?

No. It's an icon pack: a digital download from Etsy, with one ZIP per colourway of about 7–8 MB. Updates are free; you download them again from Etsy.

Will it cover my apps?

It has icons for popular apps for messaging, social, video, music, shopping, money, travel and work, plus 86 Australian apps, from banking and government services to transport, weather, supermarkets and TV. For anything else, use one of the 45 extras or ask us for a new icon. Icon requests are free, usually done within 72 hours, and added to the next free update. Ask about an app.

Do the icons work like normal app icons?

Almost. Custom icons don't show notification badges. Quick install icons show Safari for a moment before the app opens, and iOS may show a short banner when a Shortcuts icon runs. Clear and Tinted Home Screens recolour every icon, these included.

Can I go back to my original icons?

Yes. Remove one icon, or a whole Quick install group, then put your apps back from the App Library. See how to undo.

Does it work on iPad?

Yes. Bush Glass works on iPhone and iPad with iOS 27. The icons and steps are the same on both, and each colourway has iPad wallpapers that fit both orientations.
